CQS ISO9001

Certified Quality Systems are one of the UK’s leading Management System Consultants. CQS aid Vision illumination in meeting international quality standards to improve productivity and efficiency. This is achieved by collaborating on processes such as; systems establishment, training, systems management, internal auditing and supplier audits.

CQS verify our compliance to the requirements of ISO9001:2008, Highlighting Vision’s commitment to quality, traceability and continual improvement. This key criteria gives clients confidence when specifying our products and services. ISO9001:2008 promotes the development of continual improvement, customer satisfaction and traceability through the implementation of various management system processes.

SEDEX

The Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (SEDEX) promote responsible and ethical business practices in global supply chains. This covers four main areas – labour standards, health and safety, the environment and business ethics. SEDEX membership is a key part of Vision Illumination’s commitment to meeting the highest possible standards in our products and work practices, encompassing both our direct employees and third party suppliers.

For ISO14001 CQS provide effective implementation of an Environmental Management System, resulting in pollution reduction, minimisation of waste and efficient use of raw materials and energy. This, in turn, promotes the ethical standing (see SEDEX) within Vision Illumination, reducing costs and ensuring environmental process efficiency.

The Lighting Industry Association (LIA) promote the use of quality lighting in order to strengthen the lighting market. Formed by the merger of the Lighting Industry Federation and the Lighting Association, the LIA has over 175 years combined experience in representing the lighting industry on a national, european and international level.

LIA membership has a number of benefits to Vision Illumination, including access to in-depth market intelligence, technical advice, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) support, independent certification services and more.
