Vision Illumination collaborated with Enerveo to provide a modern lighting solution for a Newcastle underpass, where outdated, high-consumption fixtures were impacting visibility and driving up energy costs. Tasked with designing and supplying LED retrofit panels that could work seamlessly within the existing structure, Vision aimed to enhance both functionality and efficiency without extensive modifications to the site.

The LED retrofit panels provide a cleaner, brighter, and more focused light than the previous installations, ensuring safer passage for pedestrians and cyclists. Additionally, the new LED fixtures are energy-efficient, resulting in reduced maintenance requirements and operational costs over time. With a significantly longer lifespan than the previous lighting, these panels also support sustainability goals by decreasing the frequency of replacements, minimising waste, and conserving resources.
